All collars are stuffed with long rye straw. Hand stuffed rye straw throat. The long rye straw filling runs unbroken across the throat and far up into the sides - ensuring greatest strength where it is most needed - in the throat. The throat is the weakest point in most horse collars.

Black Beauty - made with high quality top grain, Hermann Oak leather for the rim and back. Chrome oil tanned face will not absorb sweat (russet). Stitched with heavy nylon thread, lock stitched. Lever fastener top. Laced outseam and rim with chestnut color Indian tanned lacing.

#SP10V Fancy Pad
Made with vinyl and fake fur. This pad has foam rolls on the outside to fit around the collar and give the horse a wider pulling support. Nylon straps to fasten under the hames and two Velcro's on left side.
